Working Towards a Brighter Black Future

The Black Remembrance Projects was born out of the need to observe, celebrate and remember the Black American experience in the United States. More specifically, 2019 marks a special year in Black American history: The 400th Year since the start of slavery in America, the 100th anniversary of the Chicago Race Riots, and the 50th anniversary since the Assassination of Fred Hampton.
